International trade has been a big focus for us over the past year and as well as meeting with companies from all over the state that are already exporting their products, we also put together some educational programs, like the one today.
Dr. James Chan, founder of Asia Marketing Management, was the featured speaker at Doing Business in China, which drew more than 30 people who are interested in trade and partnerships with that country.
(We are pleased with the attendance today, since China is our third largest trading partner.)
Dr. Chan was an engaging, animated and knowledgeable speaker and the first five minutes of his program set the stage for the next two hours, as the audience heard about the five most important words to remember when doing business in China.
Hint: The acronym is … C.H.I.N.A.
