For developing products that help safeguard American interests at home and abroad, Beckwood Services has been named the “Innovation Rocks!” award winner by the New Hampshire Business Resource Center for the month of October.
Beckwood, a contract manufacturer engaged in the design and manufacture of electronic controls and electromechanical equipment in the United States and Europe, was recently awarded a contract to provide components for Patriot Missile Fire Control Systems manufactured for the United Arab Emirates by Raytheon.
The Patriot Missile is the cornerstone of air and missile defense for 12 countries, including the U.S.
“Providing the components and sub-assemblies for this project is a huge coup not only for Beckwood Services, but for the state of New Hampshire,” said New Hampshire Division of Economic Development Interim Director Roy Duddy. “The Granite State has a long history of being home to businesses that create products that keep our nation free and we’re proud that Beckwood is carrying on that fine tradition.”
