Division of Economic Development to Offer Free Mobile Marketing Seminar

By the end of 2011, it’s estimated that there will be 140 million, plus smart phones in the U.S. With more than 50 percent of all U.S. mobile phone subscribers—and the overwhelming majority of users under age 44—owning a smart phone, businesses can no longer rely solely on a traditional website. A mobile website designed to meet the needs of mobile phone, smart phone and tablet users is a must.

Mike Dolphies of "Cyberspace to Your Place"

Recognizing that fact, the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development will be offering a free seminar titled “The Secrets of Mobile Marketing” to be held December 9th from 9-11 a.m. at the Division’s headquarters, 172 Pembroke Road in Concord.

“Mobile marketing is an essential part of a business’ communications strategy that can’t be ignored,” said New Hampshire Division of Economic Development Communications & Legislative Director Steve Boucher. “With so many potential customers utilizing new technology to access information about products and services, businesses need to become better educated as to how to capture this emerging market.”

The seminar will be led by Michael J. Dolpies of “Cyberspace To Your Place” in Tilton, NH. Dolpies, an expert in mobile marketing who has developed a mobile marketing content management system (CMS) that enables business owners to quickly and easily create a mobile site, is also author of two books “Motion Before Motivation: The Success Secret That Never Fails” and “Street Smart Persuasion, How to Sell More Using The Power of  Your Written & Spoken Words,” as well as co-author of “Cyberspace to Your Place: Internet Marketing Secrets for Your Small Business and Professional Practice.” Dolpies frequently addresses business audiences on the subjects of mobile marketing and internet marketing.

Some of the topics Dolpies will cover include the four pillars of mobile marketing, how to use the “mobile internet” for lead generation, the secrets of mobile marketing websites and how to use them, how to design and structure mobile websites and landing pages, and how to use QR (Quick Response) codes.

“Over the last two years we’ve researched and applied mobile marketing to our business and have helped many clients with it,” Dolphies said. “This ‘Fun Shop’ gives you all of this knowledge and experience. It’s going to fun and informative, I guarantee it!”

As there is only room for 50 attendees at the seminar, attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible by visiting http://mobilemarketingtips.tv/funshop.
