When all was said and done, the business and economic development community decided that a “bull free” news diet was in order. The New Hampshire Division of Economic Development’s “No Bull Business Blog” has been named “Best of Class” in the “News Communications” category of the Northeastern Economic Developers Association’s (NEDA) 2010 Literature and Promotions Competition.
The Division of Economic Development’s communications efforts were recognized at NEDA’s recent 54th Annual Conference at the Renaissance Providence in Rhode Island with three awards in total, an “excellent” rating in the “Single Print Ad” category as well as a “best of class” rating in both the “News Communications” and “Print Ad Campaign” categories. The print ad campaign was designed by Square Spot Design of Manchester, New Hampshire.
“This is great news for the New Hampshire business community,” said New Hampshire Division of Economic Development Communications & Legislative Director Steve Boucher. “We’ve learned that businesses want a departure from acronyms and jargon and favor having their news presented to them in an entertaining way. By standing out, we’re delivering the message that New Hampshire welcomes innovation and celebrates creativity.”
The Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA) was formed in 1956 to promote economic and industrial development in the Northeastern region of the United States. The association encourages an informal exchange of ideas and serves as a medium by which its members can benefit from the experiences of other professionals.
