Safety Products Company Finds Safe Landing in NH

A Massachusetts company dedicated to creating safety products has relocated to the safest state in the nation thanks to a favorable business atmosphere and the work of the State’s lead business recruiter.

atlantic-safetyPreviously based in Norwood, MA, Atlantic Safety Products has purchased the 78,000 square foot Pittsfield Weaving building in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. Pittsfield Weaving remains a tenant and Atlantic Safety Products will use a portion of the facility for East Coast distribution.

Atlantic currently employs ten people, some of whom will relocate to the Granite State and new local hires will be made as well. The company is known as the world-wide industry leader in hand protection. It manufactures the internationally acclaimed Lightning Gloves line, featuring the Black Lightning Glove, the first ever black nitrile glove made specifically for the automotive industry.

Most recently, Atlantic has been in the news as a result of its 5.5 pH technology that provides their gloves with a unique coating that adjusts to the natural pH of hands to reduce skin irritation.
