Preparing for Tax Season

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

A little education and some advanced planning can prevent tax obligation surprises and allow savings opportunities for self-employed people and owners of small businesses.

taxesLinda Snow, a certified public accountant with Snow Consulting & Tax, PLLC, in Concord, has been offering sound advice to small businesses for more than 20 years. As a small-business owner, she understands the challenges of negotiating finances, tax planning, and overall operations and management responsibilities.

Snow knows it is important for small-business owners to be able answer the questions:

How do I calculate my business’s monthly cash needs, including my income tax obligations?
What are my tax reporting and payment responsibilities as a small-business owner?
What are tax credits, and does my business qualify for any?

MicroCredit-NH and its partners around the state are hosting a FREE series of tax workshops with Ms. Snow this fall. These workshops have been opened to ALL MicroCredit-NH members at no cost. Lunch will be provided and each participant will receive a detailed workbook.

Space at each workshop is limited and available on a first-come basis, and preregistration is required.
